Different to see a still life take top slot as Image of the Week . Forms part of my 2026 photgraphic projects, "Fruit and Veg" Still lifes . Pac Choi has an eye catching shape with great green tones  

Taken with a Nikon D3200 with Kit Lens set at 27mm,F8,200thSec and 200 ISO , flash deployed  .

For a second week a 35mm Film Image hits top spot I'm sure the combination of Film and Black and White hits a note . Image is of the Roman Ruins at Caerleon South Wales  .

I like how the dark tone of the trees anchor the background.

First Image of the Week for a 35 mm Film image .Taken at Porthcawl South Wales , the famous harbour wall that has been captured numerous times during storms being smashed my waves  .

Huge responce on 500px to this image outstripping prior week winners by quite a margin . The footbridge spans the river Taf at Blackweir Cardiff .

Nice to see contrasting images hitting top slot in 2026. A gentle landscape taken at Penallta South Wales . Top of the valley capture hills and valley capped with full cloud coverage

A product of Autumn season  two withered leaves , the image is about pattern and structure . The brown colour contrasts with the green background . The heart shaped produced by the stacks adds to the composition . (Image is available for sale at 500PX)

First Image of the Week for 2026 and a bit of a surprise , a little abstract photo of a log caught in the back flow of a waterfall . Taken during a walk by the Rhymney River South Wales . I was using a 100mm lens to capture tighter compostions this view fitted the bill
